AL TEEN (THE OLIVE)

Allah – beginning with the name of – the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
AYAT |
TRANSLATION |
1 |
وَالتِّينِ وَالزَّيْتُونِ |
By oath of the fig and of the olive, |
|
2 |
وَطُورِ سِينِينَ |
And by oath of Mount Sinai, |
|
3 |
وَهَٰذَا الْبَلَدِ الْأَمِينِ |
And by oath of this secure land, |
|
4 |
لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنسَانَ فِي أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيمٍ |
We have indeed created man in the best shape. |
|
5 |
ثُمَّ رَدَدْنَاهُ أَسْفَلَ سَافِلِينَ |
We then turned him towards all the lowest of the low states. |
|
6 |
إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ فَلَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍ |
Except those who accepted faith and did good deeds – for them is a never ending reward. |
|
7 |
فَمَا يُكَذِّبُكَ بَعْدُ بِالدِّينِ |
So after this, what causes you to deny the judgement? |
|
8 |
أَلَيْسَ اللَّهُ بِأَحْكَمِ الْحَاكِمِينَ |
Is not Allah the Greatest Judge upon all judges? |
